Detailed Itinerary
Upon arrival at Madurai, our representative from South Tourism will meet you and assist with a smooth check-in at the
hotel. After some relaxation, begin your Madurai sightseeing with a visit to the Meenakshi Amman Temple, one of the
grandest temples in India. Marvel at the architecture and intricately carved sculptures.
Proceed to the Gandhi Museum, followed by a visit to the Tirumalai Nayakar Palace, the royal residence of the Nayak
Rulers. Before returning to the hotel, stop by the Koodal Azhagar Temple, a prominent shrine dedicated to Lord Vishnu.

After breakfast, start your drive to Rameswaram, often referred to as South Kasi. Admire the stunning architecture of
the Pamban Bridge before checking into your hotel. Relax for a while and then proceed to visit the Ramanathaswamy
Temple, signicant in the Indian epic Ramayana.
It is believed that Lord Rama performed a special pooja here after defeating the demon king Ravana. The temple’s
longest corridors are adorned with intricately carved sculptures. Next, visit Agni Theertham, the Floating Stone
(believed to have been used in the construction of the Ramasethu Bridge), and Ramar Patham, the imprint of Lord
Rama’s feet.
Before returning to the hotel, take time to visit the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Memorial and make a short excursion to
Dhanushkodi, the city that rose after the devastation in 1964. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Rameswaram.
Today, you will travel to Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of India, known for the conuence of three oceans. Check
into your hotel and relax. Begin your Kanyakumari sightseeing with a visit to the Kumari Amman Temple, followed by
the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and the Tiruvalluvar Statue, which stands at 133 feet, symbolizing the 133 chapters of
the great Tamil literary work, Thirukkural, authored by Tiruvalluvar over 2000 years ago.
Enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the sunset and take some time to explore the View Tower and the Wax Museum
before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay in Kanyakumari
